Is Kenyan Government Part of the Terror Network Maiming its Own Citizens?

On the terror attack, I have sat down at our usual place by the fence and listened keenly to my drunk neighbor. I think DN is crowd sourcing too much from other sources other than his usual drowned mind. He tells me, with bloodshot eyes and wrinkled forehead, that this whole terror attack wasn’t an Al Shabaab thing. There is a much wider story behind the attack.

DN points out from the onset of my probing him to prove his allegations that we should not forget the main aim of most labelled 'terror groups' as that of expansionism. So anything divergent from that and far from physical geographical boundaries of Somalia is purely an elaborate Kenyan inside job. Take note: in the proceeding text I put it in DN's voice.

When we look at the patterns of the most recent terror attacks in Kenya and around the globe, we discover that the supposed extremists are just hirelings. Their hiring executives are 'stable governments', high ranking government officials, multinational companies and organizations, international legit agencies (both intergovernmental and human relief/aid agencies) and the UN itself. Both outside and inside forces unleash terror on innocent helpless citizens then 'blame' it on terrorists.

In this case, let's focus our mind lasers on the Riverside drive, Westgate, Mpeketoni, Suguta Valley, Liboi, Kismayu port and the election related chaos. Nairobi as a city has the most mundane land grabbing history. The settlers robbed the Maasai > the Asians and politicians took over from the Whites > more politicians and illegal trade merchants now are taking it by force from Asians early civilian (but connected). It is these politicians and illicit trade merchants who have run down most of the processing and manufacturing industries in the country. They are the reason why Kenya and its allies fought by all means to capture the port of Kismayu. Kismayu is an excellent entre port for smuggled goods (sugar, maize, arms, narcotics, hospital drugs, household goods and such). Lamu on this other side is the most equivalent of Kismayu. Does the LAPPSET project ring some bell in you?

Even before the locals of Lamu were aware of the Lappset, the two (politicians and illicit trade merchants) fat cats had already bought cheaply large tracts of land along the supposed route, right from the sea shore up to the Ethiopia and South Sudan border. Then terror attacks began in Lamu. Tribal and interclan attacks escalated around Isiolo. The Ethiopia's Oromo were now armed to teeth raiding even very far villages deep in Kenya border. Mumias, Pan paper, Changamwe oil refinery, Telekom, kcpb and others roared their last. Election violences unanimously began when some key high ranking persons brought their 'differences' to the public and curiously ended when the same key persons decided to 'lay aside' their differences and shook hands.

The rescue responses in both Westgate and Riverside drive attacks clearly points to a well sat down and crafted script. Former was scene one and the latter scene two. More scenes are likely to follow. Rescue mission during Westgate was 'haphazard and uncoordinated’. The Riverside drive one was too organized and meticulously executed. It was so perfect that the suicide bomber had to inquire kwani hamjafika? (You haven’t arrived yet?)
It's after the Westgate attack that the ultimate demise of Nakumatt became a public issue. Take note on how particular multinational retail chains came so fast buying out the likes of Ukwala and setting shop in virtually all major urban centers across the country. Suddenly Tuskys was the moneyed homeboy inheriting his riches to rags elder brother's ran down homesteads.

With even a cursory look at the tenants of the attacked area in Riverside, you can clearly hear the warning shot. Here is the home to a number of startups that have a brighter future in the coming couple of years. Cellutant, Brighter Monday, Pigia Me, a great number of business outsourcing firms and many more great budding brands. Inline with the wanton pilferage at Telekom and its forced collapse, the particular political formation that owns and controls the major media house and communication service provider are on record in using all tricks on the table to kill any budding competitor. If you prove too proud to be bought, the big brother brings you down by hook and crook. Hired hitmen masked with terrorist decoy will be sent to your base and you will remain closed for months as 'investigations' into the attack continue. The attack at Riverside might look random. But I tell you, it's targeted. You can fill in the rest on the hotel and the restaurants.

The land around Westgate and Riverside areas has been in contention for long. Though the cases have always been fought mostly far away from the public arena. But occasionally they have spilled over. The involved individuals in the cases have curiously been particular Asian families, certain politicians, multinational and known narcotics trading families/individuals.The cases have always retreated from public glare with reports of mysterious deaths.

Lastly, at any event of terror attack, the aid and relief agencies have always occupied the site so conspicuously as if on cue. Overwhelming donations are made, mostly in cash and in kind. Kenya is a recipient of billions of cash as funding for antiterrorism. These funds go the same way where NGO money go, into individuals accounts. Human relief crisis is big business. Look at how burials of victims is being delayed. The delay is in order to organise better well funded requiem masses and send offs. Good money would be spent by government, emergency aid agencies and adhoc committees in the counties and among the berieved families. If you get a glimpse of the amount of cash that the international community poured in after the Garissa University College attack compared to what the victims and their families finally got, you will understand why am saying terrorism is a lucrative business in Kenya and around the globe.
